Great trail with lots of loops for variation. Nothing steep but beautiful. Would be good for kids. I did see a black bear cross the trail about 75yds in front of me. We looked at each other for a few moments then it ran off into the woods.

A beautiful hike with so many trail options. Sleepy Hollow was my personal favorite! The trail is well kept full of flowers tall mature pine trees and some wildlife. Saw a beautiful white tail deer! Highly recommend this hike I feel that it is good for all skill levels. It was heavily trafficked with kind mountain bikers but not too much of a problem

Gorgeous hiking trails. Many loops to choose from. We did around 2 miles of the trails and were in love with the scenery. Gorgeous wild flowers, heavily wooded, nice trails. There are quite a few mountain bikers but that was no big deal. Highly recommend.

HikingNo shade

Place to visit when in Michigan. A bit windy w mild sand blasting. Be prepared to have sand everywhere. No shoes for most the way , shoe needed on off trails . Bring water and food if going if going to the lake . You’ll need the energy for way back.

Beautiful day for a hike! So many wildflowers and great views. 70 degrers and sunny on June 18, 2020. Although this says hiking trail its more of a mtn biking trail and there were lots of bikers enjoying it. We had to move several times off the trail to let them pass by safely. We wanted to do the upper to lower drain which weren't marked at trailhead. We ended up finding them as we hiked so it all worked out but a map at board in parking lot would be helpful.

Very well maintained trail. We went the first week of June and the wildflowers are amazing! Came across some mosquitos so make sure to wear spray. Overall really beautiful and easy trail!

lots of trails not on GPS, you might find yourself wandering. About a half mile in is a map board, might want to take a picture of it. The trails are marked, but will do you no good, with out a map. wildflowers are great. lots of bikes. you could go in here 2 or 3 times for different hikes or rides.

Nice easy hike. Trail is well maintained. This combination of trails gives you a different feel on each trail; shaded, open, wild flowers, small view of tree line with mountains.

Very good trail. It's hot outside today (90 outside temp when I finished). The trail was well shaded, and in great condition. I never felt overextended by heat. Wish my doggy was with me. A bicyclist suggested the Sleepy Hollow trail, and that was the first portion of this trail. Good suggestion. I was amazed at how little trash was on the trails - far cleaner than California. I'll post pictures when I get home. It was a very relaxing, through picturesque forests. Easy, except for slightly moderate the middle third.

This trail should be rated as easy, not moderate and is part of a trail system so can be lengthened/shortened if needed. It is a lovely stroll through the forest. There is no water source that we saw so if you bring a dog pack some water!

It’s ok, most of the trail is very rocky, wide road used for atv , trail better after getting to top elevation.
