Not much of a historic site hike and views of Pearl Harbor along this trail are undesirable. Homeless camps and several areas with heavy tribe smell. May be better bike than hike trail. I would NOT recommend going alone

Nice constructed path, lots of litter though, takes away the beauty.

I run this path weekly and the path itself is in decent shape and relatively flat with a few brief inclines. There are some open views of the water. Unfortunately, there are a ton of homeless families for the stretch underneath the bridge on your way to Ford Island. The opposite direction on the trail towards Blaisdell Park has even more homeless and those homeless tend to have more illegal activity going on in and around their tents. However, I've never been approached by any of them and I run with both of my kids in a double stroller. Gorgeous views of the water if you can just overlook the two major homeless spots on the path.
