Please Note: You must get permission from Hawaii Reserves Inc, before accessing this trail: http://www.hawaiireserves.com/pdf/HRI_Hiking_Application.pdf This trail is similar to the Laie Fall Trail, except that it is a shorter jaunt up the ridge and the falls are multi-staged and both up and down the stream. Be prepared to swim, as access to the largest fall upstream requires one to swim through 2 pools before reaching it.

First 2.5 miles is great. Awesome view at the top but once you start descending to the falls it is almost all the way overgrown. The falls were really small. Lots of work for little reward

Not really worth it. Must get early start As we got lost so many trails of mud to travel.

I think this trail can easily be confused with the Laie Falls Trail. It is quite a challenge, but worth it. The falls are small, but a great place to cool off. Also, more than 6 miles.
