The GPD says you’re there but you’re at the parking lot and there’s no trailhead in sight. The parking attendant said there is no trail, just the scenic walk. Parking there was $5, nice views but no trail.

The GPS track showed for this trail is not the Kaplilau Ridge Trail to Wailuku Cross. It is showing the Ioa Valley Tableland Trail.

This trail is closed, along with all the other trails in Iao Valley State Park. Tried to hike it earlier today and it was blocked off. The park website doesn’t say anything about these trails being closed.
