Short hike to get to the falls. Going down is steep but there are ropes to help. When we went there were no people. We were able to use the ropes to climb to the second waterfall

If you want to get closer to the waterfall you have go down a hill and that is a very moderate hike , not easy at all. Muddy and deep.

Beautiful tiered waterfalls. Most of Hike on paved trail but Trail down to ponds very muddy. Hiking spikes is a good idea or at least hiking shoes with good traction. Don’t rely on rope if you choose to go to second falls as it looked like it was ready to break. Please be quiet near trailhead as one of the neighbors told us to be quiet. This was 0900 and we were not talking loud.

Easy hike until right before the pond when you have to climb straight down. Beautiful falls that are great for jumping into, but the water is super cold! Beautiful falls, worth going in the morning. Wear hiking boots, bring a swim suit, & a towel. Not dog friendly

picturesque little pond beneath a waterfall. the trail is strewn with ample trash, and every flat surface is decorated with graffiti. despite being closed, the trail seems to have regular foot traffic.
this area clearly has an abundance of rain: the vegetation is thick and lush, the ground is slick, and the bugs are plentiful.

Awesome hike that makes you feel like you are in a post-apocalyptic world. Electrical lines are down, side walks are split and sown with trees, and lush fauna grows over everywhere. Some pretty sweet graffiti walls along the way. A nice good incline hike right before the minor repel down to the waterfall. If it has rained recently be cautioned that it will be slick to climb down, muddy and buggy. Totally worth it once you get to the bottom. Luckily, we had a lovely friend who had been there before show up how to climb the first falls to see the ponds above. This is a very special place, please help to keep it special. Take your trash and respect this natural beauty. I'd never quite experienced anything like it!

Large electric wires and trees down along the trail, be careful. View at the upper falls is gorgeous. Please make sure you clean up your trash when you are here, there was quite a bit of it as well as a dirty diaper by the falls.

Tried to hike this on 6/25/17 and there was a security guard at the entrance of the trail. He told us it was closed.
