Great hike....took us about 2 1/2 hours with stops along the way. Pretty steep in places. Bring towel, drinks, sunscreen and wear a hat! Some great views of mountains and water!

Took us 2 hours in total to finish and quite easy with a few steep parts but a very rewarding waterfall at the end. Someone on the trail had brought a fruit picker which was handy for the mountain apples and strawberry guava. Shady for the second half of the hike but I would put on sunscreen for the beginning half and bug spray if you are prone to bug bites. Next time I'll bring my dog as it wasn't as hot as I thought it would be.

A nice, short hike with a clear, well marked path/road with a steady incline about a 1/3 of the way in that leads to the falls. Well shaded as you get closer and the falls are well worth it. Possible to trail run most of the trail.

Great hike! Took our three year old and she powered through it. I had to carry her a few times but it is doable for children. The end gets steep but it isn't too crazy. The waterfall and the lookout make it all worth it. Make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen and bug spray. Also, it is gated closed and marked do not enter but just go to the left and you can easily go around the fence. There were a ton of groups on it today so it obviously isn't enforced.

Had a positive experience on this hike. It can get a bit steep but nothing out of the ordinary. The waterfall and a few scenic views along the way are definitely worth it.

The waterfall is well worth the trip and the periodic views of the valley and ocean are amazing. The trail is a BWS access road the whole route. We went at 9am and there were minimal crowds. We had a 9 year old and 5 year old with us whole loved the waterfall, complained about the steep on the way up but skipped the way down. Would rather a trail rather than a graveled road.

It's a beautiful easy hike to do! It's a gravel /dirt trail the whole way, but slippery when wet. There is a lookout about 3/4 of the way through with an amazing view of the ocean. You can walk right up to the falls!

Great and easy hike! Kid friendly (I had a 5 and 7 year old) and dog friendly. It can get muddy, so go on a day that it hasn't rained. Park on the road before the road narrows. You will see a gate that says "Keep Out," but if you look to the left the is a path to go around the gate. I saw the workers and no one told us we need to leave. There is a watering hole about 10 minutes into the hike. The path is gravel about 3/4 of the way. We didn't get to see waterfall because there was construction ahead and the path was only wide enough for a tractor, so we turned around. Hopefully next time the path will be clear!
