This loop trail is located in the White Street Park, and its the only trail in the park. The trail is about 1/2 mile in length; good for a lunch time stroll. What it lacks in distance, it makes up in habitat and scenery. On this trail, you experience it all in such a short distance: creeks, wetlands, pasture, and woodland. Park benches are strategically placed so one can rest, enjoy the quaint setting, and contemplate life. The trail is shady in most areas. Its a great place to walk the dog. The trail is easy enough for seniors, young children, and those recuperating from injury or starting a fitness program. It can still provide fitness benefits for those more experienced if it is ran, and it sure beats some boring, flat, high school track. It is located in a suburban park that lies between Buford Hwy and an active railroad, so expect vehicle noise and train whistles.
