HikingGreat!

Had a great hike. Road traffic was a bit distracting, but all and all, we had a great time.

The overlook views were pretty and the trail is well labeled. Unfortunately, you can hear traffic from the main road on most of the trail.

Overall a really nice trail. Walk in the woods with very few moments of strenuous climbs. Loved the few overgrown areas and the overlook. One area of critique is that you have to cross the main road twice and large portions run parallel to the main road - so if you are trying to escape traffic sounds this trail will disappoint.

Nice, peaceful hike with very little trail traffic today. Enjoyed the views from the overlooks. Will walk this trail again in the future.

Overall easy trail , not too many steep inclines. Had one very beautiful overlook but other than that not too many views. Still a fun trail!

There are some stinging Nettle plants on the second half of the trail. Be aware they hurt and sting very bad!

The East End Loop is comprised of the White Candle Trail and Beaver Pond Trail. The trail is pretty easy but there’s not a lot to see. Odie Overlook is a nice view. As with most of Pine Mountain, the trail is rocky so wear good shoes with thick soles and ankle support. There is no good water source and shade is thin on some sections so take adequate water with you.

Pretty trail. The overlook is beautiful. We always thanks the loop starting from the right so that we work towards the overlook, which makes it more rewarding!

Nice trail! Not too hard. Odie Overlook is pretty. Part of the trail is on a ridge and rocky as it’s slanted down but it’s fine

Honestly, this trail was kind of disappointing. The trail itself is well maintained and well marked but pretty monotonous. It is also very dry without interesting water features due to its location midway long the ridge. Some parts of the trail are near the road which made it a little noisy. Overall this is an easy walk with no remarkable features apart from one overlook.

Great hike, more like 5mi with the first leg that gets you to the loop. Nice overlook. Beautiful long leaf pine section. Parts of the trail had some limbs on it, which normally would be fine but was a bit harder since I was carrying our toddler on my back making the blown over limb clearance too low.
