This is a nice enough little trail, but it is just too short to really get much of a workout or spend much time there, unless you want to walk in circles. But it's worth checking out at least once or twice, for sure.

This park is located in heart of the city and provides a playground with a real train caboose for children to explore, a pavilion with picnic tables, and rest rooms. But aside from this, the park has a secluded feel to it. Its nature trail consists of a soft trail loop that runs under mature hardwoods and along a meandering stream. This stream has so many twists and turns that it keeps the trail interesting despite its short distance. The banks of the stream are low and permit many private spots for picnicking. There are several shortcuts/bridge crossings across the stream that will permit customization in length and direction. It’s great for an afternoon stroll, walking the dog, or as an outing with children.
