A great area to explore

We visited the Upper Chattahoochee River Campground in early July 2013, and there were no other campers there! It was a long trek down to the campground, I believe about 5 miles on a one-way gravel road, but it was well worth the drive. The campground was peaceful and quiet, we couldn't hear any cars except for the few that also made the trek to visit a small waterfall at the end of the campground. Our site was just a short walk from the cold river, maybe 30 yards or so, and we stayed at the last site on the loop. There's also a group camp and several dispersed sites nearby.
