Very fun and easy hike. I loved being able to visit the mounds on our hike. You definitely need to climb to the top of the Temple Mound while you're there!

Easy hike, well marked trail. Be sure to climb the big mound for a great view. Also, the visitor center is built around an excavated mound. Costs $5 a person to see it but is worth the money for anyone with an interest in archeology.

Easy, well marked short trail in the Kolomoki Mounds State Park. This trail is a two part trail that covers all mounds within the Ancient Plaza of the Indian Mounds. Visitor Center was very informative and there u can pay for the $5 parking fee. Awesome view from the top of Mound A (largest mound within Complex). Great trail for the family.

This is a short trail, less than 3 miles, to the Indian mounds, which are very interesting. Easy to navigate and very easy trail.
