Definitely feels a lot longer than marked on the park's map. Very adventurous as there were lots of trees down we had to climb over or around. I really enjoyed the trail and the adventure of this hike, but it was definitely a little more difficult than I expected it to be.

Nicely marked trail. Was expecting wetness after all this rain but the trail drains well.

This was a nice morning walk. Trail needs a little work, but is more than manageable.

I hiked this trail last along with the white oak and temple mound trail to complete all of the trails at Kolomoki Mounds state park in one day. This is a very easy, fairly flat and very picturesque trail. All 3 trails combined offer a little over 6 miles of hiking. Get up early to avoid the gnats during the hottest part of the day!

A wonderful Bird Watching trail that hand rails two different lakes. Very enjoyable and easily identifiable trail blaze of orange marks on the trees.
