This was a fun trail. There wasn’t much parking and you normally have to pay, but luckily it was waved due to COVID. Really busy/heavily trafficked on the paved part which was where I started. I was on that for a mile or so and then was able to go on the secluded hiking trails which were perfect. Easy to do alone and there’s signage throughout. I got turned around a couple of times but it was relatively easy. I did the full 8 miles and it was a workout. It’s also pretty shaded throughout which was nice. There are a lot of bikers on the hiking trails too so just be aware and respectful.

Just rained yesterday so a bit muddy but nothing that interfered with riding. Had enough technical parts to keep it super fun. Absolutely had a blast on the downhills. Keep watch for hikers and bikes coming the opposite way.

Nice wooded trail— good way to get some decent mileage and generally not too crowded.

it's been a while since I've been on this trail, but it's a good hike and the elevation is a low to moderate.

Great trail, way too many downed trees on 2/17/20 but other than that it’s great.

This trail suprised me! It is mostly made for mountain biking, but it was a great workout for hiking also. The trail starts at the Interstate North trailhead. You will walk on the gravel for about 1-1.5 miles or so until you come to the start of the trailhead to take you to Sope Creek. Once you enter this trailhead, the experience is night and day. I went during the week and there was hardly anyone on this part of the trail. I saw a few hikers and a few mountain bikers. It makes you feel very secluded walking through it. Once I got to the junction, I continued onward via the Sope Creek trail. I then stopped right by the creek for a quick snack before I made the trek back down to my car. It really was a great loop at just over 9 miles (since I walked about an extra .5 miles out and back to Sope Creek).
