This trail was a nice Sunday walk with the doge. Nice that it's a big loop so can be done in reverse to help keep it interesting for my dog.

I like the trail except there are a few spots where the trail is just walking along the roads that run through the park. Overall, it is well maintained, well-marked, and a good easy-moderate trail for your day trip to Tugaloo Park. A little wet area near the lake. We did this hike in chacos and crocs with no problem.

HikingGreat!

Great hike, well marked with blazes along the trail, a lot of small hills but leaf covered packed dirt along the lake was as good as it gets!

Great views! Saw a couple of deer (one buck 4-6pt possibly). Some elevation variation, pretty solid paths, cross some roads. Nice family hike. Would consider tent camping there!

Some parts of the trail are easy but depending on the person, some parts are moderate. Two people in my party tripped over small branches. Some parts of tail near lake are overgrown with grass. Also, the trail cuts through campsites which make the hike less private. The trail is very consistent with signage; definitely won't get lost! We also saw a family of deer too!

Overall a good trail with a mix of climbs, descents, flat and technical sections. The only complaint is the number of trees laying across the trails. They clearly have been there for weeks/months.

This is one of the best marked trails I’ve ever been on! A lot of it goes right alongside the lake, you do walk on the road in the state park a little but it’s nice to catch a breather after some incline. Saw a few deer, no other people
