Getting There

A walking trail through the woods along the Chattahoochee River. This is a beautiful network of walking and hiking trails. Some loops are wide and stay in the woods, others are more narrow and are right up on the banks of the Chattahoochee. The system is well maintained by the City of Roswell with bridges over creeks and benches.

Free parking next to the river. There is a parking lot along Riverside Dr just under GA400.

Take GA400 to Holcomb Bridge Road. Go South on Old Alabama Rd. There is a parking lot where it ends at Riverside Drive, just under GA400.

Okay trail... You are basicly walking on a path right near the road. Easy for children, definitely not moderate. It is easy!!! I would do that trail if you are looking for something easy and basic.

Trail was enjoyable. Not to busy with people but enough to feel safe. Trail had a pleasant view of the river at times and could be done by all ages.

Trail tends to get a bit secluded. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle.

It's an easy trail with a dirt trail that connects. I took the dirt trail and it was great! It has other trails that connect to go different directions. I went with my dachshund and we enjoyed those different trail leads.

Easy, relaxing and friendly people/pets. Some bicycles but, not that bad.

This can barely be considered a trail, it's more like a sidewalk. It runs directly next to a busy road and the majority of it is paved. No inclines at all, barely any nature. The river is nice but there are way better views at other parks.

Beautiful area. I'm training for a marathon in January and was hoping for more. This is a great place to walk the dog or stroll your kiddos, however, for a distance run you may wanna look elsewhere. From the parking lot it's about a mile and a half Norway and a mile the other. The parking lot is roughly in the middle of both paths. Beautiful scenery

First to Review

Took my two year old daughter here in the jogging stroller and had a blast. Paths are easy and clean and everything is well maintained. The river was slow and the weather was perfect. I look forward to something a little more challenging as this was very easy but I would come again for something mild.
