Rock Springs Park Trail is a 1.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Lawrenceville, Georgia that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The Rock Springs Park Trail is a combination of hard and soft surfaces. The 2 mile trail traverses a creek system that divides the park into narrow ravines, hilltops, and ridges. The combination multi-use asphalt and mulched nature trail meanders through a mature woodland and an open area; crosses creeks using 1 boardwalk, 2 foot bridges, and a suspension bridge; and edges around a lily pond.
My first trail out in Georgia, it was very peaceful, lots of hills
This is a great suburban park. The hard/soft trail allows for changes in scenery and elevation. The only drawback of this trail is that once you commit, you must submit. The ravines are so deep and the vegetation is so thick that you can only cut across at certain points. So make sure you hit the restrooms (which are available at the starting point) before you start. Otherwise, its either stay the course or turn back. See my tracks for 3 distance options.
