A beautiful paved trail around the lake with playgrounds and ball fields. Well maintained, plenty of gorgeous views of the lake and even some baby birds!

This an easily accessible and flat trail that is probably a great birding spot early in the morning when there are fewer people. Small lake surrounded by privet and scrub with patches of temporary swampy ground. Both mature pines and deciduous trees surround the lake. Geese and ducks, herons, and many woodland and woods-edge birds on my 5:00 pm walk.

I love it here. My dog and I walk it at least once a week, sometimes two or three times. You can make it tougher and longer by parking at the first parking lot on the right and going up the hill before hitting the loop.
