The trail is ok. The bridges on the trail need work and half of the trail is still currently closed.

We walked it on Nov. 1, 2020. Paved and gentle walk, nice trail, but it was cut off at the half mark at Tye Street there was a “road closed” sign on the other side of the street, so the trail is only about 1.5 mi instead of 3.1

WalkingGreat!

Nice paved trail. Be careful on bridge. Dogs allowed as long as you pick up after them. Wouldn’t be a pleasant surprise to step or roll over with tires

The bridges do need to be rebuilt but there are temporary patches which work just fine for now! Bathrooms were clean. Very nice walk!

Great trail. Lots of trees to be removed. I wish they would create a little path to view the creek and really fix the bridge. Otherwise it’s decent.

Nice tree covered trail with low elevation, but on the back end of the trail towards the park there was some illegal dumping and bridge work that needs to be completed or cleaned up. If you have kids, I suggest starting at the memorial park entrance. The Flippen road entrance has nice warmup equipment but it is suited for adults.

We went the day after a heavy rain and it was very muddy and the bridges were quite slippery. there was a tree down blocking the end of the path. It was a very easy trail other than that.
