The incline on this trail is moderate until the end. The trail follows a river the whole way in, allowing for great views, and opportunity to cool down or for pets to get a quick drink. The trail is fun, with lots of different terrain to navigate which keeps it interesting. The falls area is amazing, and a great place to enjoy the water. Bicycles in wilderness are illegal and subject to fines. Hiking past the end is discouraged. The scramble at the end up to the top off the trail and is heavily eroded. Please, respect the landscape and its resources!

$5 day use fee with a pay box, and pit privies at the parking area. While it is an easy trail, there is gradual incline and many rocky and very rooty areas that can be slippery after rainfall. I would say the difficulty averages out to moderate when including these factors and the short but very steep end climb to the falls. I am a not terribly in shape hiker and it took me two hours to get to the falls with a couple of short breaks. Lush and forested not a lot of sunlight falls into the trail itself. There are several nice campsites as well. The trail follows the water the entire distance, and honestly, some of the falls along and trail are so pretty they’re nicer than the finale. It was, however, very busy. If you prefer no to hike with much company this isn’t the trail for you.

Absolutely Love this place! Proposed to my wife here 5 years ago. I have gone back once since. Next time I would really like to camp

Loved this train, but it did kick my butt! The trail is cleared and slow grade up to the falls. There are many little falls along the way. Watch out for the many tree roots, they get me every time. Day after Thanksgiving there were quite a few people on the trails. Parking was a bit of an issue, but worth the hassle. There is a $5 per person entry fee, self pay.

Loved this trail. Went early morning in November and saw no one on the way in. Nice feeling like we had the trail to ourself. Definitely busier in the way out though, passing several groups.

Very easy trail with a river flowing right next to you and lots of small waterfalls. The path is wide and simple to follow. Around 5 miles total.

Absolutely LOVED this trail. Waterfalls all along the way, awesome spots to tent camp, and amazing photography opportunities. The waterfall at the end is totally worth it.

This trail is right at 6 miles round trip but definitely worth it. The terrain does get slightly tricky at times. You have a lot of nature’s staircases; roots and rocks. Just give yourself enough time to take breaks if you are not an avid hiker. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to hike and that was with a good bit of sight seeing. There are ALOT of photo ops all the way to the top. Absolutely beautiful from start to finish.

This is a nice trail but is very busy, best to arrive before 10am. The falls all along the trails are nice. With the recent rains there was plenty of water in the stream and coming over the falls.

Slippery when wet and always seems to be wet...Lol I Would recommend waterproof hiking shoes/boots for best results. Lots of roots and small rocks for the 1st half mile or so. After that it’s is relatively smooth terrain. Great views of small waterfalls and constant sound of running water makes for a peaceful hike. Few small inclines and the trail is heavily trafficked but overall great hike for all ages/skill levels. Several great spots along the trail for primitive camping.

This is a nice out and back, shaded, and alongside water almost the whole way. Not much water coming over the destination waterfall, though, due to drought. I’m sure it’s more impressive with more water, and still a beautiful walk in the woods.

One of my favorite hikes while in college! Plenty of areas to step off the trail and rest if you’re feeling tired of just want to enjoy the moment.

Nice, beautiful, easy hike thru interesting terrain. Several small waterfalls along the way. When you think you've reached the end, go up the steep path on the right where you'll end up in an area with a waterfall nestled among two stunning cliffs.

Easy trail along creek w several waterfalls and open areas. Very shaded. On a Friday afternoon we came across lots of other hikers and off leash dogs. There’s a small parking fee at trailhead during the week and pit toilets.

Lots of roots but nice trail billowing the creek. Wasn’t impressed with the main waterfall bc it was a trickle between rocks but there are other falls to see along the way.
