Great urban walk (feel guilty calling this one a hike).... lots of people, dogs, bikes, runners.... easy and comfortable. Perfect for a quick workout during the week and don’t want to leave the city.

Great in the AM before the humidity kicks in during summer. Very quiet, no cars heard. Lovely oasis in midtown.

Piedmont park is a great park, but this path should be updated if it’s gonna be dog friendly. You can’t walk dogs up on the track which is a 1/3 of this path. Other than that great time.

Have come here many times over the years. It is a large, wonderful park that hosts many festivals and concerts. No special reason is needed to visit. Perfect for a sunny afternoon stroll and picnic with lots of trees for the ENO.

Atlanta's iconic park. A local favorite. Parking can be a bit of a problem. Read signs when street parking to avoid getting a $25 ticket.

Great for walking and running. Not very many trails - mostly paved. Also a track for interval work.

I enjoy Piedmont for the most part. Occasional events that sometimes make parking difficult but once that's out of the way there's usually still parts of the park that you'll have space to run in. Sometimes you'll just have to weave through a crowd. I like that I can escape from the park itself and run through the city. If you come through the main entrance and just stay to your right it's almost an exact mile from your start location (just something to know).

This place is great. We played kickball, flew kites and just generally enjoyed the people watching. Highly recommend as a family or friend hangout!
