This trail was average the only thing I can say is that if you are looking for the waterfall it is not an easy hike finding it. I must say that this was the most adventurers hike that we have been on. When you cross the bridge over the river and make a left to get to the waterfall. A hidden gem

The main concrete trail. Nice little stops along the way to see the water. Great for little ones.

Not a single parking spot & so many people waiting & circling trying to find a spot so never made it in this time. When not overly packed, it’s nice place to hike.

Very easy paved path on one side and none paved on other that passes by the old mill. Many side areas to view river including swings and benches. Small rapids at the end of paved area. We took the paved path as it has stormed last night and was a bit muddy. There is a continued path not paved but temporarily closed. My kids always have a blast, it’s partially shaded and has little creeks and bridges to cross over. Includes well maintained bathrooms at parking lot and trash/recycle +dog poop area at the end of paved path. Well maintained!

Hiking with the puppy! Lola’s first solo hike. Short route. Only 1/2 recorded trail

The whole park is gorgeous, but the trails aren't necessarily well marked and it's easy to end up on a trail other than the one you intended. The trail that starts across the river and runs to the trestle bridge is just okay. The portion by the river is great, but then it opens up into a buggy (and smelly when we were there) open area. The trails continue past the trestle bridge, but they aren't marked and don't show up on the park maps. I would highly suggest walking one of the several other trails at the park first.

No trail map in the display case at the trail head so we went over the bridge over the river and then saw signs for Moore's Pass trail, which is where a few trails started. The trails were for hikers and bikers so watch out for bikers. We got to the spot called the Knot which has a trail map and benches to rest. The entrances for Turbine and Raceway were here, turbine was bike only and is clockwise only. Raceway had two entrances, you pick the direction you go based on what day of the week. We learned that the trail distance was one-way. It said Raceway was 1.8 miles but according to my Fitbit it was a 4 mile hike. We'll be sure to bring a lot more water next time. Hiked with a dog and a 6 yr old. Besides being longer than expected, which made us all tired, it was very nice. The majority was shade. The start was a bit rocky but most was just well traveled dirt. We saw a couple joggers and a few bikers. Plan to visit again to try the other trails closer to the water next time.

Great family trail. We only went as far as a beach just beyond the trestle. Six year old managed it just fine. There is one creek crossing that might present a problem for those with mobility issues. First part is wooded and along the river. It departs the river and opens up just before the trestle.

great trail but needs some work and cleaning. Next time we go we plan on bringing trash bags to do some clean up.
