I tried desperately also to find this trail. The map took me to a hunt club. I checked with the clay pigeon folks across the street from where the entrance “should have been” and no luck. I’d love to actually find it.

We tried VERY hard to find this place with no luck. We stopped at a business that should be across the road from the "entrance" and they were not aware of this trail. We drove 1 mile down Newport Road and found no place to park that would indicate a trail existed. We live in the area and were disappointed.

Nice dispersed camping. Love hiking in (low water) or scrambling along the creek, becomes almost gorge-like in sections. Many nice small waterfalls and additional one on a path from road.
