Beautiful well established trail through the woods around the lake. This trail is very well established and easy to traverse. There are a few small sections that include rocks and roots, but typically it is hard packed dirt or sidewalk. Any streams, water or troublesome areas are easily traversed by way of sturdily built bridges. 1.6 mile trail loop. 2 loops is 5K (3.1 Mi) and 4 loops is 10k (6.2 mi)

Bit muddy from the rain on the unpaved trail. Lots of people out fishing, several walking around. Great outdoors escape inside the city.

Nice easy trail to get out of the house and close to Brookhaven. I took my parents who have knee and hip issues and they were fine. 40 min walk, 1.66 miles, minimal elevation changes.

My husband and I decided to check this park out after a long day. We came a little before it got dark and we started our walk where the little free library is. We decided to talk about scary and creepy stories we have heard about and thought it would be a perfect convo to have while it got dark. Definitely creepy at night, can barely see without a flashlight, and someone appeared behind us which made us scream a little when we saw him. Totally worth it because of the ambiance. 10/10 would recommend for late night scary story walks

We loved this trail, but found it to be poorly marked where you go up the hill. We weren’t sure exactly the right way to go and doubled back the way we came.

Came here for the Sweep the Hooch event and stayed to walk the trail. Absolutely gorgeous, even on a rainy day. Perfect escape in the middle of the city.

Great "get away" in the middle of a busy urban area. Easy trail, pretty lake and nice trail through the trees.

This trail is beautiful! It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of trees and some light wildlife along the trail. The trail loops around a beautiful lake that has great spots for pictures. Trail was easy for the most part, some areas a bit steep with tree stumps but overall not bad. Enjoyed it. Also, parking is free

Easy local hike. Parking can be a beast if there is sports practice/games. The lake can be a bit "aromatic" at times. Ducks and turtles and really big koi can be seen. Some creepy lurkers can be around during the day, but there is a good amount of traffic throughout most days.

Great little trail if you want to do something to wait out 285 traffic after work...I had a sales call near there late in the afternoon and didn't want to drive home in the traffic. Ran the loop twice and had lots of fun. Very pretty for being in such an urban area.

I went at 6 pm on a beautiful day for a quick run. The trail was very busy, but not unmanageable. Having never done any trail running before it was a very good trail to start with. It acclimated me to terrain variations, and there are some small elevations changes that kept things interesting.

Easy loop around the lake. The back (northern) section is through the woods while the front (southern) crosses the road over the dam. Only one slightly steep part in the back. The western side is a wide path along the lake and becomes a narrow trail as it enters the woods in the back. The eastern side is mostly open along the lake. The park has picnic tables and a good big playground for kids. The trees provide good shade in the winter. The little league fields in the south can be noisy and crowded.
