Easy beautiful trail that runs parallel to a beautiful creek! Mud Creek Falls on one end and Estatoah falls on the other end! great 2mile hike with kids!
Easy hike along creek with falls and beautiful overlook at covered bridge.
very quiet trail even on a Saturday which was nice. start at the overlook if you want to see the waterfall at the end of your hike. otherwise just follow alltrails directions and the waterfall will be right at the trailhead.
Perfect. A little bit of everything. Oh, and I failed to stop the recording until we returned by auto to our AirBNB house.
Really nice place for an easy 1 to 1/2 hrs of walking. Trail is easy, wide..no problem social distancing. Park at the Sky Valley Overlook and walk on the path that is next to the road and go PAST the covered bridge. The entrance to the covered bridge is washed out. Someone put a plank to access it..but just go past it and in about 20-30 mins there's the falls. Very impressive local waterfall, especially after some hard rain.
Lovely trail. Very easy. Not too busy. Water and creeks all throughout the trail. Was surprised to see that this trail was in a country club!
This is a stunning easy hike. It is flat and you walk along a beautiful creek whose noise will accompany for the entire hike. You end up at a beautiful waterfall. We hiked with the dogs and they loved it. My only wish is that it was longer. This would be a great path to run too.
Beautiful home and falls. We parked at the overlook and walked up the path, past the covered bridge. Shortly after three covered bridge take a path to the right and you'll see an area for another small falls from an old water plant I'm assuming
Awesome trail. Started at the overlook. Had problems finding the trail as we thought you had to cross over the covered bridge but it actually runs parallel to the road for a short bit.
The trick of parking at the overlook is spot on especially if you want to walk up first. The trail follows the road to start. When you get to the covered bridge take a look. Then keep following the road and then you will turn up into the trail.
Here’s a tip if you’re coming up Dillard Road (106/246) from the Dillard area. You can park at the scenic overlook on the right (just below winding Ridge Drive)...then follow the path next to the road until you get to the main trail. That will start you at the covered bridge. Saves you about 8 minites from having to drive all the way into sky Valley. Enjoy!
