Getting There

Visitors can essentially drive up to Mud Creek Falls. The map on this page reflects the short walk from Tahoe Road to the falls. After seeing the falls, many hikers choose to walk north on Mud Creek Trail, which can also be found on AllTrails.

Go north from Clayton on U.S. 441 and turn right on GA Hwy. 246 towards Sky Valley. Turn left at Sky Valley’s entrance gate, then right on Tahoe Road and continue to the falls.

These falls were gorgeous! You could basically drive right up to them. There is a 1 mile easy trail that follows the stream

Great easy hiking trail. Lots of rain lately but the trail was easy to hike, just a bunch of water running through. Definitely a fun easy hike.

Beautiful waterfall right at the parking area, and wide path that follows the stream. Very pretty and kid-friendly hike, easy to find.

This was well worth our time as a family. Our kids loved playing in the river and mild rapids, and the views of the waterfall were gorgeous. This was a great place to get wet on a hot summer day!

Great hike that starts with a waterfall. That’s all my kids want to see. But we did take the 2.2 mile hike and enjoyed it!

really gorgeous falls and super easy trail. bad thing about this place is the local people from the golf course community are big time snobs. i say hello 3 different times. one to a group of 8, second two older ladies and third a father and son. not one even like at me. ignored me like a ghost. out of two months touring 6 southern states. this place by far was the worst i was treated. but don't let that stop you.
