Pretty steep but worth it

I wouldn't rate it as hard unless you're not in fair shape. The cliff at the top is worth the effort.

Beautiful views from the top!

The trail isn't marked well (we got lost a couple of times) but other than that, it was a great vigorous hike!

I did this trail last summer and it was super hot which made it harder but overall it was an amazing trail. The reward at the top was well worth it.

The fact that it was rated HARD intimidated me. Don't let it do the same to you. Go at your own pace and make your way to the top to enjoy the beautiful view!

Tough son of a B, so rewarding! Awesome cliff side views at the top of you stay to the right. Then you get a wide open field for campin out at the top (if you stay left when you get to the top you get to the wide open spots quicker.. so If you’re getting there late to set up camp.. stay left lol then check out the rock side views in the daylight) definitely would recommend trekkin poles!!

Great hike, definitely strenuous at parts, but the views from the rocky cliff is quite spectacular! I would love to go back and camp out there - they have some great backwoods camping spots!

good trail w/ nice view at the top. steady incline almost the entire way. not the best on blazes would be the only complaint. it was actually 4.7 miles round trip too, according to my hiking app. once you reach the peak, the best sight is to the left were a handful of trees have been cut.

Amazing hike! It was challenging but worth the view a the top. There are bathrooms towards the top but I would not recommend using them as they are gross.

Such a GREAT day!! Did Blood via Freeman in the am and then did Yonah for the sunset and some full moon hiking.
Went the day after the Super Blue Blood Moon and could not have been happier. The views are always stunning and the sunset on this day did NOT disappoint. Hiked back down after sunset in the light of the GORGEOUS full moon.
Such a wonderful day. Had an amazing time.

This could be a difficult hike if you’re not in shape. Some steep, rocky parts and one spot where you have to do some rock scrambling, but well worth the view at the top. Highly recommend this hike for a sunset hike.

VERY difficult for a beginner hiker...cold and windy day. Large icy patches on trail near top. But well worth the view at the top.

Good intensity. Nice views at several levels. Was very muddy and icy today. Clay was especially slippery.

Great hike with a well marked trail. Lots of traffic so expect company for most of your hike. Several very muddy (stop and knock your boots off) sections.

Great trail for a day and a half trip, we arrived on a Friday evening, set up camp, hiked and enjoyed the scenic views, and camped near the summit for the night again. Great for dogs, and not too difficult for families and elderly.

Great trail for sites to see. The icicles were beautiful, but as far as lightly trafficed... The lot was full with cats parked even along the dirt road in. Must've passed about 30-40 people, mostly groups of people. Guess we just picked a bad weekend in the off season. Still beautiful.
