Awesome hike, very steep but doesn't last forever. View was amazing and hike was excellent. One of my favorites

While the views from the top are amazing, the trail is in very poor condition due to heavy use and erosion. We got there early in the a.m. so crowds were not too bad but lots of people ascending as we left.

It is a good work out. And the the rewards of the views may be worth a "not very fun" hike on the way up.

Excellent hike! Reminded me of the White Mountains in NH. I look forward to climbing here again.

Best hike I've ever done in Georgia so far. Definitely need to be moderately in shape to complete the hike but the difficulty is 100% worth it. Breathtaking views and incredible exercise.

Bring more water than you think you need.

The 5th Ranger Training BN was there. I hiked up with them. Way cool. It's only 2 miles up... but it's UP. Better be in shape.
