This trail winds through dense, jungle-like vegetation, with diverse and varying landscapes to enjoy. With some changes in elevation, this trail is somewhat brief but can provide a decent challenge. The major payoff is a spot on the river underneath the suspension bridge, affectionately called "Dog Beach" by locals, where hikers allow their dogs to play in the water while off-leash.

Not psyched about spending half the hike under high tension powerlines and listening to them hum. Open grate steps that my dog doesn’t love, boardwalks in rough shape, and super muddy after the rain with random pavers to hop on, but not enough. The suspension bridge is really cool, though. And the dog beach seems interesting, although I’m not a fan of off-leash dogs in general.

Overgrown with invasive species. Nice area for dog owners, but I much prefer other trails around Atlanta for hiking or trail running.

Nice and easy trail. Features a cool bridge and some nice views. Some parts have wooden flooring, other parts are sandy/muddy. Very shaded and overall good trail but nothing spectaular
