Took the Chute from the Old Mill (trail at historical marker) which is very steep. About 1/3 of the trail is washed and very rocky so watch your ankles. I would list this one as easy-moderate as it is all uphill.

Great, short hike. Not hard because it's so short, but the steep nature of the hill may limit some folks, especially since there was some debris and a fallen tree along the way. There are a few inconspicuous benches on the way up, making for nice spots to relax. Pretty little view at the top which connects to another trail. Lots of cool info about Longleaf Pines along the way. Within its purpose and scope, this trail is great.
