Start from the amphitheater at the Park Headquarters. Buy a map at the headquarters and head out counterclockwise. The signs are excellent. The Liberty Bell pool is near midway and a great place to stop for lunch and access the restrooms during the season.

Easy hike that is extremely well marked at every trail intersection. Start from the amphitheater at the park headquarters where you can buy a great map prepared by the trail volunteers. The park's Liberty Bell pool is right about halfway and a great place to stop and eat and use the facilities if the pool is open. You do cross paved roads a number of times so be careful. Check the elevation profile closely to decide if you want to go clockwise or counter-clockwise.
