It was a great trail for a quick walk/hike with the kids to burn off some energy. The fairy houses are so cute and it kept their interest along the trail. Finding the trail is a little confusing at first (especially if you stink with directions) but you park in the lot for the playground to the right as you enter the YMCA parking areas. If you look directly across the parking lot from the playground you’ll see the trail sign.

The trail has nice streams and the whole thing is gravel paved. Also, the trail has very few people. Not bad. Entrance is on E.Bells ferry on the way to the outdoor YMCA.

The trailhead is actually located at Lewis Park: 100-4466 E Bells Ferry Rd, Woodstock, GA 30189. The gravel that was recently laid wasn't meant for trails, as it was extremely large in size and really rough on the kids' and dogs' feet.

Peaceful trail! I loved listening to the birds and looking at the fairies. There wasn’t a lot of people on the trail either. Follow the signs to the Outdoor Y Camp to the parking lot.

Great trail for ones who are just getting into hiking. Great to bring your dogs. Not many people on the trail since it is in a neighborhood. All around good trail and great for picnics, it is fun to look at all the fairy houses that were built.

First to Review

I would recommend this trail to anyone who is looking to get into the woods for a walk with their dog or children. Also for anyone who likes to run. The trail is gravel and there are two loops. Dog friendly (dogs must be on leash). Small “Fairy Garden” where there are fairie houses. Several creeks with bridge crossings. Picnic tables and benches throughout. Parking at the Outdoor YMCA.
