Great little hike for kids. To begin the trail you must walk down a paved footpath and turn right onto the trail. Great for kids!

Moderate on the easy side hike. Only saw 4 groups on Saturday afternoon. Slippery leaves in parts and fallen trees.

so we had a plan and it was all going well until we tried to get to the Rock Outcropping. We ended up very much off the trail and couldn't figure out how we went wrong, so naturally we pressed on through much bramble and bush! we did find a lovely waterfall which otherwise would have been viewable from a bridge, but somehow we ended up beneath the bridge at shore level! We got some good pictures! one day we'll go back and try this trail again without as many errors! but even getting turned around can be fun with the right hiking partner not to mention it's a great learning curve. anyway, Arabia Mtn was too crowded so we did this one and were genuinely rewarded by the adventure and solitude. maybe 50% of the few faces we encountered wore masks, mostly on the paved areas of the Winding Trail (where we began before picking up the Laurel Creek system). it's easy to social distance and even moreso on the Laurel cutoff, which is unpaved. Well-marked white blazes are easy enough to follow... except near the darn Rock Outcropping! In warmer months I imagine it simulates north Georgia and is very lush and alive!

HikingGreat!

Very well-marked trail; no chance of missing the trail markers. In spite of how crowded Arabia Mountain is right now with the pandemic, our hike here at 1pm on a Sunday, we only crossed paths with 4 different groups. Took us a bit under 90 minutes with 2 adults and a few 13 year old girls & we dawdled over pictures near the water.

A nice surprise! A great mid bike ride detour. It was just us on the trail, pretty forest, and pretty creek. There is also a picnic table on the trail, which would have been a nice place to have lunch. You could potentially run some of the trail

The “rock outcropping” on this trail map is not much of an outcropping. Otherwise it was a very cool trail. Well marked.

Rated a 2.5 stars IMO. Disappointing trail in that the creek was more stagnant water than a flowing creek and the highly advertised Rapids (even with trail marker) were little more than a gentle flowing faucet (look at my photos). I will definitely try this trail again after a good rain or even after a good long raining period to hopefully bring back the Rapids and biggest appeal to this trail. The rest of hike was leisurely and an enjoyable walk in the woods. Parked next to trailhead by the school.

Little trail was tricky to find. Crosses on and off the PATH which makes for sections of paved, full sun hiking. Some great spots to stop and enjoy the creek.

Came for a morning adventure before the GA heat set in. Great little trail full of different landscapes to appreciate. We saw a few folks, but most of the time we felt as though we were the only ones out there. We took our time and spent some time by the "Rapids" and were back in the car (parking is GREAT btw) within 2.5 hours. Worked up a bit of a sweat around some parts of the trail due to the steep inclines, but for the most part, I would say this is an easier trail. Will be back for sure after it rains a bit more.

A nice trail for what it is. A leisurely stroll in the woods. If you live local it’s worth the drive but you may be disappointed if you don’t live East if Atlanta and have a long way to come for it. Lightly traveled and well marked and maintained.

Mixed - paved and wooded. Some trees down across trail but nothing rough for hiking. Trails not broken in too good in parts but well blazed so it was ok.

TOO MANY SPIDERS AND SPIDERWEBS TO RUN. I had to go back. Plus I parked at an Elementary School which idk if that was ok but... no parking for trail access. Woodsy but needs some upkeep and maintenance.

I would say this is a moderate trail due to the hills. But I'm not in great shape. Walking along the creek is amazing!! I would recommend this trail. Beginners it's a lot of up hill. But it's worth it.
