A walking trail around the lake in Vogel State Park. It features an optional side trail down to a viewing platform for the waterfalls on Wolff Creek. There are exceptional views of Blood and Slaughter Mountains.

Pretty views of the crystal clear lake and surrounding mountains. On a summer weekend the trail wasn’t busy but there was a lot of noise from the beach and boats on the lake.

Nearly flat loop around Lake Trahlyta. Excellent view of Blood Mountain across the lake from the dam area. Short spur trail takes you to Thahlyta Falls at the northeast corner of this loop. Overall, a scenic relaxing hike.

This is a very easy trail that goes around the lake and leads to a huge waterfall. There's some great views of the lake and state park nestled between two mountains. It's not hard and it's well- marked, definitely recommend.

This is a perfect small morning/warm-up hike, or perfect for all skill sets. There are a lot of cool views of the lake, blood mountain, and a waterfall the leads to small creek/river.

Gorgeous, easy walk around the lake. Perfect for all ages, and there’s a beautiful waterfall you can choose to walk to as well while going around the trail.

This is a good case of what you see is what you get. No surprises on this easiest of easy hikes. We combined the falls hike .7 miles at the end of the lake. The falls were pretty nice.

This is a good walk, but not my favorite. It's helpful because at least 4 or 5 trail heads sit ON this loop. But, as a stand alone, it's only worth it for the mountain shots across the lake and there's lake activities you can get into. It's not my favorite because the begining of the loop, you have to walk past secluded cabins, right next to the road just to get to the trail head. Which defeats the whole purpose of a nature walk. There's also a water recycle plant right on the loop, so it smells terrible when you're close in proximity to it

The lake, view, and waterfall are beautiful. However, the hike is not very rewarding. It is very short, you are always close to a road and traffic, and the waterfall is close to a water treatment facility. You are never more than a few yards away from very loud mechanical noise that feels out of place in the beautiful area.

This is a lovely walk around a man made lake with easy access to the falls. I wouldn’t consider this a hike, but more of an easy stroll. Parking is 5 dollars and there is a welcome center right there to answer any questions that you have.

This is a pretty little 1 mile gravel trail around a man made lake in Vogel State Park. I definitely would not classify it as a hike but more as a walking path... very family friendly and easy for little kids as it is short and no steep parts at all. It's nice to look out at the lake but if you're like me and prefer more rugged terrain out in nature, you may find this a bit too "manmade" for your taste. Perfect for beginners or for runners wanting to do a few laps. Overall a nice little walk! It does cost $5 for a parking pass at Vogel State Park and there are many other activities here from mini golf to paddle boats (if the right season). Lots of campsites and cabin rentals available too. Enjoy!

Excellent for families. A little too "man made" for us, but still a nice walk and waterfalls.
