Beautiful scenery, but they’re not lying in all of the other reviews when they tell you the golf carts drivers almost ruin it for runners / walkers! I can’t tell you how many times I was almost run off of the trail by rude and entitled idiots! The teen drivers were more willing to share the trail and wave than some of those old, smug jerks were. I enjoyed the elevations, the sunset on the lake, and the beautiful autumn foliage. The only negative for me was the ABUNDANCE of motor vehicles present.

Great elevations and quite scenic, but beware of the golf carts! They'll run you off of the trail!

black top the whole way, pretty lake scenery here and there. It's mostly through a residential area so I saw some pretty halloween decorations in people's yards scattered throughout. My reason for the low score is the people speeding on this trail with golf carts . I was constantly having to look over my shoulder (and had to jump in a yard or two for how close some of the teenagers were getting) and even then they were speeding past like I wasn't even there. I get it's a multi use trail but a little consideration goes a long way. Good for exercise if you have no other option.

If you want a paved walk with a beautiful view, this is perfect. I jog here often but it definitely isn’t hiking. Expect lots of golf carts and bikes. The lake is only in view through half of it. If you’re local it’s worth visiting. My kids love going here.

Busy, friendly and active trail. Mostly in neighborhoods. Too many golf carts. Pedestrians must yield to the golf carts.

Beautiful walking path and nice people encountered. Spyglass Island is a nice spot for a picnic, if you're so inclined.

Good newbie golf cart trail. Lots of really pretty houses and great views of the lake. Little to no wildlife.

Walked this path many many times. It is nice bc it is convenient being close it town. The lake is always pretty, but path can get very congested with carts.

This place is absolutely breathtaking. However, I won’t be back simply because there are way too many people riding around in golf carts who were often not courteous to runners or walkers. If you wear headphones beware, you’ll get run down by these people even when they’re able to ride on the residential streets they instead will take up the side walk.

First to Review

Trail is well kept. But highly trafficked by golf carts. Makes it difficult if you plan on walking. Walked with dog on leash and with kids. Paved the entire way so is very much stroller friendly. Very well shaded. You have to walk beside rode on the sidewalk for a ways but still a nice trail for what it is. 3.8 miles on the dot.
