5$ daily parking fee. Cash only. Very nice trail. Not too steep declines so good for runners and knees. Highly recommended. Lots of bikers and dogs on leashes so be careful and wouldn't recommend headphones cuz of bikers you won't be able to hear they are coming. 5/5

Easy trail with tons of lake access. Side trails with access to lake that are off the main path. Great for bringing fishing pole

Great trail but the maps were hard to read. Wish I had this app before. But I do now.

Great trail for a family outing. Crossed paths with several other groups on foot and a few on bikes but not overcrowded at all.

This was an awesome hike! I have been to Red Top Mountain many times and I had never heard of this trail until a few days ago. The hike takes you around a section of the lake with lake side views the entire hike. There are quite a few side trails that you can take to venture off into a resting spot - there are tons of places to relax lakeside or set up a hammock. I ended up finding a nice area to do just that. The hike itself is not challenging - there are a few hills but not too bad. I went during the week and saw a few mountain bikers and a few hikers, but for the most part you feel like you have the whole trail to yourself - on weekends this may be a different story, so try to go during the week for a sense of solitude.

Very nice for leisure bikers. Nice, wide crushed rock surface, generally well-maintained. One felled tree partially blocking trail. No rocks or roots. Easy grades. No bears or snakes.

Loved the water view, mosquitoes were a tad annoying but it’s that time of year!

An easy path with nice sights and bikers and hikers alike can enjoy. Sometimes the blue blaze markers are a bit confusing because there are splits and crossroads that arnt on the official map. If they would improve the markings for beginners it would be helpful especially if you are on a time schedule. All in all a great hike.
