Nice trail. Very easy. Not much elevation.

nice trail. has some steep inclines but fairly level hike. hot but it was mostly shaded. trailhead not in state park but next to it.

this is a nice trail. if your like us and looking for the trail head it's all the way to the left of the big field right before u get to the first entrance to the park. I'd recommend parking in the field. we parked in the parking lot and after 7 miles were wishing the truck was closer lol I like how there are hills to get your heart pumping and flat places to even you back out. the bridges are beautiful and most of the trail you can see the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Nice trail, actual about 6.7 miles out and back. Hike is mostly along the lakeshore and has a couple of up hill climbs but nothing too strenuous. Came on a Thursday morning and had the train to myself. Did see some deer, ducks, lots of turtles and a stork. Will definitely do again.

Beautiful lakeside trails with lots of nature. It's well marked and signage makes it easy to track your progress through the trail. There are some uphill climbs which can be a bit rough at times. All in all a very pretty trail with some great views.

This trail is brutal for overweight older people. Great hike and it’s NOT 5.9 Miles there and back. More like 7.5. Even the Indian Springs trail map says 3.5 miles one way. Be prepared. I drank almost 4l of water.

Beautiful trail along the lake. Mile markers to keep you on track and the half way point being Dauset Nature center was such a treat. Wish we left earlier so we have enjoyed walking around Dauset more before the three miles back.

You can avoid parking fees for the park by parking at the trail head in the field and walking to the state park.

We moved to the area recently from North GA, felt just like up there hardly and people on a Sat afternoon. If you want a longer hike- keep going to the nature center. There is water, restrooms, and an awesome "zoo" to walk. Our total distance was 8.2 miles with 410 elevation gain out and back. It is well shaded the whole way. This will be our new weekend hike!

Nice and hilly. A little unkept in certain areas. Really pretty views of the lake from the trail.

This trail is a lot longer than .8 miles. After 3.4 miles it connects with Dauset Trails. At that point you can turn around and head back to your vehicle or continue and come out eventually at the Dauset trail head. Beautiful trail, well marked. Park in the field before the first entrance to the park for the trail head. Entrance is at the tree line.

I'm not sure why the description above says it is a 0.8 mile out and back trail. Maybe that is old information or maybe they are only referring to the section within the park boundaries. In truth This is a 3.5 mile hiking and biking trial that connects to the trail system at Dauset Trails. It is a very nice ride and an relatively easy family-friendly hike. There are beautiful lake views with some very nice bridges. If hiking I might suggest leaving one vehicle at Indian Springs and one at Dauset Trails, but of course, that won't work if you are by yourself. Besides, on the trip back you will notice a lot of things you missed on the trip out, and seven easy miles aren't that great a challenge, but are well worth it.

Visited some family RVing down at Indian Springs for the day. Great campsites, and not nearly as hot as I expected it to be. It was beautiful and shady, and our site 81 is directly on a decent sized lake. They have a neat little civil war era cemetery, a playground and put-put course for the kids, and hiking trails. Also, downtown Flovilla is nearby. I use the term downtown loosely because it is really a quaint village with cute shoppes that are nice to walk through. We usually head to the mountains to camp, but it was nice to see this park within an hour of the city.

This trail starts at the state park and connects with Daucet Trail. It's about 8 miles there and back. Gorgeous views along the lake. It said that it was primarily for biking, but I didn't see any bikes - just hikers.

Indian Spring was a good hike for the dog once we distanced ourselves from the more populated loop trail. The loop was good, too, though. This park has an interesting history.
