Nice place and quick stop off interstate to explore. The sounds birds chirping, sound of water rushing down the rocks, butterflies everywhere so relaxing after Atlanta traffic! Seen people doing yoga by the cascades. Very cool!!

I absolutely LOVE this place!! From the trail to the waterfall, it's very beautiful. I love getting in the water and absorbing everything around. It's an amazing place, no matter the season!

Well-marked trail. Combine this trail with the trail across the river for a great hiking day.

decent hike, nothing strenuous, short.

If you’re hiking with dogs the falls trail might be a bit too much unless the canines are experienced hikers

Beautiful area with well-maintained trails. I managed to get off of the red trail by accident, but found my way back after a "side adventure". (The trails are marked, so this was purely human error.) The trail has a couple of steep sections and a creek crossing, so I'll take a pair of trekking poles next time. Overall, this is a fun, quick hike that has great views of the falls.

This trail was fun. It was overcast today so we didn't get to take our time as much once the thunder started. I loved the peace and quiet and the sounds of the water and rapids as we walked. We will definitely be back.

Nice hike, narrow trail in some places with steep inclines. We heard songbirds and saw wildflowers. Plenty of spider webs, found an old stick to clear the path. Also saw poison ivy next to the path, so watch out for that.

Nice. Love that there are benches to rest on...added to my total time but was nice for helping with the steep inclines.
There were some nice sized trees down in the trail that might be a problem for some hikers.

I visit High Falls Park often. It offers more than one trail, and all of then flank the Falls. There's also a very nice camping area, too.

Trails on both sides of the river. Stop by the ranger station and pick up a map. You wouldn't want to miss the abandoned powerhouse.

Truly loved it. Hate it that they weren't running but still a great place to visit.

This is a great hiking trail for beginners with a few places that more advanced hikers can venture to. The waterfalls are stunning and the sound of rushing water is always soothing. The trails are marked pretty well and seem to be kept clean most of the time. If you go across the bridge from the parking area, you can take another trail that will take you further into the woods. We didn't take this trail all the way, but instead, used it to access a place on the waterfall suitable for sitting. We had a picnic right there on the waterfall! With that being said, be careful on the rocks themselves as they can be rather slippery and the fall is not a short one should you get carried by the water.

This was an absolutely beautiful hike! A lot of up-and-down's and some steep climbs, but definitely worth it. The views of the falls and amazing and there are plenty of places to set a couple of chairs and just enjoy the scenery. My two sense: The trail just kinda dead ends near a subdivision after long climb, so when you get near the back of the trail and you see the loop, that might be a good time to just turn around... Otherwise you're in for a steep uphill climb with no reward, lol.

Contrary to what someone else said on here there are many wooden platforms which make nice places to sit and observe the waterfall and plenty of rocks if that better suits you. It's a well marked well maintained trail, impressive waterfall in this area, and a good place for the family.
