Great hike all around the center up yo inspiration point. High bluff trail had lots of bugs, over grown and prickers. Not recommended!! There was not really a view once you got out there. Had a nice lunch and beer at inspiration point, no bugs, benches and pretty peaceful. Not a lot of traffic up at that spot.

More of a walk along arc trails then a hike. Lots of trees down, and lots of burn area from fire. Nice quiet hike, but just serene and quiet.... no real views or features.

Beautiful yet strenuous on the stairs. I’d recommend going in cooler weather than when we went! 85 degrees was almost unbearable.

This trail might be nice if you your significant other are looking for a nice outing or for a family but it's not worth traveling over an hour to experience. the view at the Lookouts is pretty nice, but not amazing in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend going to this Trail unless you were going to do some other hiking at the park that same day.

This loop is 1.5 miles long. Is connected from the Stoneplace Trail. It's skinny, rooted, not well maintained with some sections a little wider. I wouldn't waste my time riding it again. There were no views of the gorge from the trail. Enjoy the gnats.

Really enjoyed this trail. It’s a nice walk through the woods with unusual and interesting geography. There are a several lookout points to enjoy. We didn’t do the suspension bridge piece of the trail so we ended up around 4.5 mile hike. So minus the 650 steps to the bridge and back up the other side I would rate this as a super easy leisurely trail. I would definitely do this trail again when looking for a quick easy hike.

A bit of a boring hike. I'm sure it would be a lot better in the summer.

Lovely walk through the woods. Nice way to spend an afternoon. We took the North Rim trail to get to the loop, and enjoyed some incredible views of the falls before reaching this trail. Be sure to obtain your permit first.

First to Review

Camped at High Bluff #2 just off the North Rim and High Bluff trails. Cold nights and great days. The park offers a Full Moon guided hike to the Gorge floor, really beautiful. Lots of day hikers on the main trails. If you like climbing stairs then camping this is the place. The Gorge is beautiful. I'll give it 4 stars because it was a great first trip for 2015.
