A little over half of this trail is on gravel or paved roads. If you start down Turkey Farm Road, there is a turn off to a dirt path, marked by an orange burn area sign. From there is a beautiful hike up to the top of Hickey Knob, where the views are great. You follow the ridge of the mountain back to a road near the river and the rest is paved. Not the best hike in the area, but the portion that wasn't on road was definitely worth it!

Don't waste your time, this is not a hike through the woods, but mostly a walk along gravel roads. Nothing but dust each time a car passes you. I believe the previous 5-star reviewer must have been on Green Mountain Trail, not this one.
