This is a short hiking trail that leads down to two large waterfalls and a swimming hole. The trail is at times steep but short. There are stairs in a few places. There a two waterfalls. The bottom fall is 0.25 miles from the parking lot and the top fall is another 0.2 miles. The one at the top is one of the most beautiful you will find in Georgia. The falls drop into an exotic blue, green lagoon. There is a wooden deck, but you can go around and get closer. Be careful though!

This should not even really be called a trail. lol It's a parking lot off a very long dirt road, leading to a walkway to view the falls. Although the falls are gorgeous, It is overloaded with people traffic, to the point there is no really good place to get a look at the whole Falls. There is One spot, on one dry rock you probably could, but when I was there an older couple was there with their tripod set up to get their great shot and preventing others from getting theirs.

The falls are very beautiful. They begin very high up and end up in what I imagine a pretty nice swimming hole (in the summer). The hike is very short and there are about three or four spots to enjoy the falls at different heights. The only thing bad was the drive down the winding dirt road which in most spots is only wide enough for one vehicle so good luck with that. The parking was kind of limited as well. Be careful.

Helton Creek Falls is beautiful. The hike is short but could be challenging for small children or the elderly. There are man made steps down a hill, then it's level briefly and starts uphill. There are two areas to view...a lower and an upper waterfall.

Super easy short hike! Perfect if you want to see a beautiful waterfall you can swim in and have kids that can't do a long hike. There is 2 waterfalls here and they are both absolutely magical. Be careful for the rocks, as they are very slippery. Great swimming hole for summer.

Scary road. One lane and dirt. But the trail itself is beautiful.

I never get tired of going here. It's incredibly easy, not sure you could call it a hike. But you can easily swim in the water (if it's not too crowded).

Beautiful Falls at all different levels. A very easy walk to Falls, but all need to know that you have to drive several miles off main road to arrive at falls parking lot.

Helton Creek Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've come across in northern Georgia. The trail leading to the falls is not very long, only about a third of a mile, but the views of the falls as you approach makes the short hike seem more magical than the distance would suggest.

Be prepared for a bumpy, dirt road leading to the falls. It's rocky and filled with large holes that my poor little car could barely handle. But boy, was that view worth the trouble! I do wish the trail was a bit longer, but the falls here are stunning.
