Very nice park. I ran the trail, which would be better if it was paved. Some parts were muddy due to rain. The trail is mostly shaded with the south end road in the sun. Quite a few geese around which contributes to the mess on the trail. I’ll definitely be back.

I have been going on this trail for a long time. It’s a very good trail! You are almost guaranteed to see ducks and geese. Don’t get too close to them, though- they are very protective of their babies! My family has even taken pictures there for holidays. It’s a great trail if you have kids or cannot do anything rigorous.

This trail is located in a subdivision. You can chose to look at houses and nature - which depending on what you like is nice. We went at noon and saw a woodland duck and a heron. There are two entrances with parking - one located in the neighborhood and another close to Blanchard Elementary. Caution - the directions from the app did not take us to either parking lot.

It’s a good place to take your children or grandchildren to fish watch the birds. Its a very relaxing place to go. The park service needs to clean up around the lake better and have rangers patrol the park more often. There are people who would volunteer to be volunteer rangers and help patrol the park. I know that there has been 26 coyotes caught and killed in the park. We need to show more interest in our parks.

Perfect trail for the family, running, dog walking. It’s peaceful and mostly shaded, which is nice on a hotter day.

Good for all levels of activity including running or walking or jogging. The city of Columbus does a good job of keeping it tidy and the trails open. There is only one bathroom which can be an inconvenience if you are playing in the playground area with kids. The bathroom is not close to the kids playground. There are always ducks and geese and egrets and herons to enjoy seeing as you walk around the lake area.

I would recommend this trail for a multitude of reasons. First, it is a great trail to run anytime of the day because over 90 percent of the trail is shaded. It is a great trail to have a walk with your family and your animals. Finally it is well kept by the city. The only issue is the condition of the bathrooms.

Beautiful nature walk with lots of animal life. There are picnic tables and grills. Playground for the kids. Fallen trees that go across the lake, pretty cool to walk across. Restrooms

Great little trail. Easy for the entire family and plenty of wildlife in the short distance. Loop includes a playground, multiple bridges, a small lake, and a cabana. There are almost always turtles out in the creek near the bridges.
