Gopher Tortoise Nature Trail is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Paradise Acres, Georgia that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Neat way to see 2 eco sysytems on one hike. Start in woodlands and go though wetlands at the turn, assuming you start in the parking area. Several people doing some bird watching, no luck with tortoises for me. Pretty well marked and comes close to some camp sites.

Early morning and I saw deer, woodpeckers, and alligators. Good trail.

Great trail with little use. Most times you can walk this trail and not see another person.
