Muddy in spots. Nice breezy day. Ready for the green to return for spring.
Garland is beautiful. Well-marked and fun for riders and hikers. Only complaint is that folks forget that erosion can be a major issue here and they ride when it’s super muddy and slick. Also a heads up: there are some serious yellow jackets in the late summer. My cousin and I had a major run-in 5 years ago. Mind your valuables in your cars. I would love to give it more stars but can’t for these reasons.
it was very quiet. Nice little trail if you just need a little alone time with Mother Nature
Short but nice trail for hikers. Terrain is suited for horses but it use this specific trail as a warm up or for inexperienced riders. If you're hiking be prepared to get your feet wet. There are 4 Creek crossings mid trail, some you may be able to jump but one for sure you're walking through ankle deep. Overall, I'll be back to enjoy this one again.
