Etowah River Walk is a 2.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Cartersville, Georgia that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

I was disappointed to learn that in this “river walk” you don’t actually walk along the river. I know the river is there but there is no view of the river. It was a good flat trail with well cared for trees, which is nice, but not what the name implied.
