E.E. Robinson Nature Trail is a 1.2 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Buford, Georgia that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This trail is one of two trails within the E.E. Robinson Park. This 0.9-mile, natural surface trail is located within the woodlands of the park’s Football Complex. It can be accessed by using the sidewalk connector near the tennis courts. The trail runs along a wooded ravine which was formed by a meandering and cascading creek. The trail crosses the creek at multiple points by bridge.

It was a beautiful day but we could not find the trail. We walked all around the tennis courts and down to the other parking lot trying to find the entrance. I did see a LOT of construction going on there so maybe they blocked the entrance due to the “upgrades”. Conservation means different things to different people.
It was a beautiful hike! There were 3-4 trees down on the path but that was expected after the storm. They were all easy to get around. To get to the trail head take the sidewalk to the right of the tennis courts, turn left onto the asphalt path, then turn right onto the concrete path. When you reach the “you are here” board the trail starts directly next to it. There were many spots where you can get down to the creek and enjoy the sounds and sights. We took our 2 year old and he had a great time too. Definitely recommend!
Excellent trail maintained by Gwinnet County. Parking area patrolled by Gwinnet County Police. Dog walkers must leash dogs at all times no exceptions. Trail can be started in either direction from starting point. Elevation only 134 feet but can be steep at times giving good cardio. Dirt trail, soft little roots or rocks along the way. Good to walk with trekking poles. Bring water, snacks and small first aid kit as a smart thing on every hike. Trail head can be found off the asphalt pavement that goes around soccer field on Peachtree Industrial side. Very decent hike.
Nice hike but watch your path. This old lady took a pretty bad tumble.
Pretty nice dirt path for a populated area, but there's a lot of dead trees. When they fall, someone is cutting them up and moving them, but twice on my walk, two different, standing, dead trees dropped crippling (deadly?) branches from 75 feet high. I wasn't able to enjoy the walk after the second. It also parallels a utility run, which makes the creek feel like the runoff from a water treatment plant.
