A rocky road littered shockingly by a hoard of flowers and trees among the river and stream.

The trail is very good and the view of the river is awesome! It was hot and dry so make sure u bring enough water. Monday was a good idea, not much hikers.

I'm from Blue Ridge where all local trails lead to the Appalachian. This moderate trail compares well with many in BR. First time out study the trail map, and map your course by the numbers. Unless you choose to wander. Your dog can be off leash if you start out early 6:30 was good for us. Very heavy traffic the last 1/4 mile.

I finally found the elusive Bamboo Forest . The care takers of this park needs to update the markings in the park. The markings are too few and far between so it’s easy to feel lost. The Forest was beautiful.

It's a nice trail with hills and river side, parking space is very limited. There is a bamboo forest at north end of trail near the chattahoochee river, I think it's highlight of the trail, worth to take extra effort to go there to take a look.

Great trail, very dog friendly. We’ve been coming here for years. Unfortunately it is still closed and they’ve now installed no parking signs so you can’t park and simply walk in anymore. Very disappointing.

really nice trail and so close to the city. river views, cool rocks, overlooks, and a bamboo forest make this a neat hike.

Ended up doing this trail backwards; there’s a small parking lot on the north end (1425 Indian Trail NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30327), be careful it’s a narrow dirt road that only fits one car at a time. It’s incredibly shaded, well marked, and leads to an awesome “beach” area that my two dogs LOVED! If you do it from the north end you can make it a little hike to the beach and a short, but uphill hike back to your car!

Great trail. Little muddy but what a nice place to get out inside the city limits!
