I didn’t know where the path started. It takes you behind an elementary school if you follow GPS. But it’s past that. Once you park, if you can find parking, there is construction, so the trail starts at the bottom. But it wasn’t marked so I knew what path went where. Good walk though.

not really a trail. this is really the backyard forest with some playground stuff of people's property.

Went for the first time today. It was nice, but there has been considerable construction since the original reviews I read here. There are new buildings where the trail used to extend from the nature center to Roberts Drive. Also, the baseball fields that are part of the park on AllTrails satellite view are replaced by an elementary school. Apparently not as many trails as there used to be, and some new construction encroaching, but not bad for an in town experience.

Good for a quick afternoon walk with toddlers

Not entirely their fault but there were several children's camps going on when I went to visit. What a nightmare. Paper, plastic, even clothing strewn about. Not to mention all the construction going on around. You can imagine my surprise when I saw a deer by the playground area. That didn't last long as there is an outdoor piano that 10 different toddlers were simultaneously playing. Won't be back here. Trails were disappointing, most end up in people's backyards.

Good for a day outside with kids. Hike is very easy and short.

Grew up here. The Nature Center itself is great for children, they have lots of activities especially in the summer. I remember as a kid in elementary school sometimes our classes could walk to DNC and use their outdoor classroom! (Not sure if that’s a thing anymore.) Now as an adult I take my dogs all the time and it’s a good hike that can last about an hour. There’s a great spot where the local Boy Scouts set up Eno Hammocks for the public to lay in after a good hike. There’s other cool things to discover like a huge teepee (maybe a yurt?) and a cool beehive with a pane of glass in front so you can watch the bees do their work.

Nice trail with several places to sit and enjoy the sounds of water. Park in the lot designated for the trail. It is larger. The nature center lot is very small. I first went on a Friday in June and the Nature Center was having a summer day camp. There were loads of children enjoying themselves. Fun to watch them but not if you were trying to find a quiet place to commune with nature. One of the bridges was roped off but there were other options to cross Wildcat Creek. Dog friendly. All in all, the trail is worth a visit.

Great area to bring kids to play and explore but not a running or hiking trail area. No paved trail for walkers.

Great trail for what it is. Very clean. Dog and kid friendly. Picnic benches and a playground for the little ones. Don't expect the anything to strenuous because it's not it's meant for family's. I do see it getting busy we went around 9 am with only a few people there and by 10am people were already showing up. Overall very clean very nice.

Very nice park, good inclines and running trails, but wish I had known how short it was (had to make several loops). Still glad to have gone.
