Please note part of the trail may closed due to a downed tree. This is a great trail for all skill levels. Round trip the trail is about 2.2 miles. The first couple of hundred yards is an ADA paved trail that winds around to an observation deck overlooking the ravine and Davis Creek falls on the other side. From there it heads down a series of stairs and follows an old road bed which makes up the better part of the trail. There are wooden boardwalks and stairs occasionally along the way. Most of the trail is wide and flat with switchbacks. As you wind your way down to the bottom of the ravine you get occasional sounds of the waterfalls. The first sizable falls are viewed from the trail. The last descent down to the main falls is the steepest part of the trip and the trail gets a bit narrow and steep on the side. At the falls there is a nice observation deck with two observation platforms with built in benches. In the summer the creeks treat you with a natural air conditioning. Also with the high humidity there are lots of varieties of mushrooms everywhere which seem to entertain the kids. If you are looking for a full day, use this as a warm up for Raven Cliff Trail that is just up the road. $4 to park unless you have a pass.

Trail was perfect! Didn't think we would see the falls so close. Switchback really helped. Falls were really flowing. No crowds.

Another nice fall to visit in Georgia. Best after a good rain so the flow is full. the trail is a little over a mile (one way) down a winding path and was fairly easy to Navigate even for someone like me with bad knees. was Able to see Duke and Ann Ruby (Another must) in a single day with a nice picnic along the river at Ann Ruby.

The tree down is no issue unless you are over 6 feet tall. Then you might have to duck a couple inches. Very well maintained trail. Wide with very little mud. Very nice and easy trail. Looking forward to spring and the mountain laurel blooming.

Small fee for the hike, but worth it. Passed one waterfall on the way to the main waterfalls. The hike was very easy with a beautiful payoff.

Great short-ish trail with beautiful waterfalls. Very dog friendly - saw quite a few and all were very friendly and well behaved. Fairly busy for a Friday morning, so I imagine it’s probably even more busy on weekends. There’s also a $4/car self pay fee for the park.

This is the best waterfall in the area and very easy trail. however if u dont like crowds I would get there early. I arrived around 10:45 and it was very busy.

Possibly the best waterfall hike I’ve done in the region. Nice views down to several smaller falls as you walk, then amazing finish at multiple falls each worthy of making the trek on their own. Would love to do again if I’m nearby

Wide trail and well maintained. Not very steep, but nevertheless it’s all uphill on the way back so make sure to bring some water

Best bang for your buck. It’s a short easy trail with several waterfalls at the end. Would be great for photos but they are strict about not leaving the trail here.
