Description
Waypoints (0)

The boardwalk over the lake is beautiful and the doll head art installation is interesting. Accessibility: The wooden boardwalk section by the lake is considered the most wheelchair and stroller friendly section, and it typically at least five feet wide (with edge barriers). The rest of the trail is natural surface (a combination of dirt, rocks, and sticks) and steeper. It is unclear if there is any designated handicapped-accessible car parking at the unpaved trailhead parking lot. Depending on the recent and current weather conditions the trail and parking lot may be muddy and slippery for equipment.

HikingGreat!

I think it was a cool trail and something very different. It is only 20 minutes from Atlanta airport. The trail is very easy but it was nice to look at all the art. Here is a video and review of trail if interested https://youtu.be/k44Oc08joDk

Cool trail if you're into weird art like me. Super easy and flat. Mix of woods trails and boardwalks. Plenty of parking.

Nice short trail. Easy for kids/elderly. Very muddy in many areas so avoid if it’s rained within past few days

Lots of winding trails. A little muddy and light traffic. A lake is available to fish and you can also take an outer trail to the train bridge.

The trail was a nice walk and the scenery around the pond was pretty. The doll’s heads were a bit underwhelming to my two teenagers who thought it “looked like crap from a junkyard”, but I found it to be clever amd memorable.

Fun trail, easy parking and dog friendly. A bit muddy in places and hard to follow but we enjoyed checking out the “art”.

I arrived with no idea what I was getting into. Not a very well signed park and GPS took me to the wrong trailhead. I started down the path and saw the creepy doll art installations! As it was unexpected, next time I will read the reviews first. But I got the humor, and the boardwalk over the lake is beautiful.

Lot of creepy artistic pieces of dolls and old toys along certain sections of the trail with quotes and humorous adages. It felt like the "Toy Story" apocalypse. Would definitely be creepy to see during a night hike. The rest of the trail goes past and over some beautiful lakes with a massive boardwalk. Lots of great scenery.

WalkingGreat!

You will begin your walk on a paved trail through the woods. The paved trail ends at a boardwalk that spans one section of a lake. Follow the boardwalk and you will end up on a trail that passes marsh areas and eventually leads to the famous Doll’s Head Trail. It is an easy and very enjoyable trail.
