Great trail! Our newly three year old’s first hike all on her own without any time in the pack and she did great! 3/4 mile in and out to top falls and then another 1/4 mile to the lower falls. Not highly crowded the day we went. We will be back to camp!

Really beautiful Trail you get to see two different waterfalls on. If you would like to check it out beforehand I uploaded a video to YouTube just search "Snooch tv" and look for a Desoto Falls video.

Great place to camp! Easy access to the trails to both waterfalls and it's not a strenuous hike at all.

The only reason this isn’t a 5-star for me is because the amount of road noise you can hear from the trail disrupts the serenity of the forest and the babbling creek. Fantastic trail - easy to navigate. Some elevation could push those who aren’t in the best of shape but they aren’t too difficult. Plenty of benches to rest along the way. Beautiful hike.

Very easy hike up and back. An easy trail to add on to your day if you want to hike multiple places. Very nice quiet campground at the base of the trail. I’ve stayed there multiple times and would recommend it.

the upper falls trail was not to bad. it had a few hills but overall easy. the lower falls trail was a lot more elevation gain in a short distance. it had stepp inclines and stairs.

The beginning of the hike goes close to the road but veers of deeper into the forest after about 10 mins. The trail was pretty easy with some moderate parts. Most of the trail runs by the creek which makes for a scenic hike.

Nice easy to walk trail. There is an upper and lower falls. Upper is 3/4 mile and lower is 1/4 mile. In my opinion the lower is cooler not because of the height but the stone face formations. Do both while your there, they are both worthy.

Very nice upper and lower falls. Easy hike. Caught a glimpse of a bear at the upper falls.

Only hiked to the Upper Falls but the trail was nice and there is a new viewing platform. However be aware that Desoto falls is part of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is NOT in or part of Vogle State Park.

Very nice waterfalls and a relatively easy hike. It was a little buggy when we went though. Would still definitely recommend.

We went to the lower falls and enjoyed it. Our 2y/o was with us and wanted to climb everything herself. We ran into a copperhead but we kept our distance and had no issue. We didn’t go to the upper falls trail but thoroughly enjoyed the creek that follows the lower trail. Our dog was thrilled to have a water source while just walking around.

Gorgeous short trial up to the upper waterfall. I was in Florida for a couple years and I'm still not quite used to the hills and altitude yet. definitely a good trail to get used to that again though. I loved it

This is an easy hike, trail is heavily trafficked and easy to follow. Benches along the way. Took my non-hiking husband and he was impressed. Beautiful higher falls with a newly built platform for viewing. Lots of downed trees at the falls though.

Perfect trail for small kids but still fun for everyone. The Lower Falls are beautiful and a shorter hike, although there is a steep elevation gain at the very end. My little ones were too worn out after doing the longer hike to the Upper Falls first, but for most anyone else it wouldn't be too big of a challenge. $3 parking fee.
