The official name for the park is “Lost Corner Preserve”. Its entrance is off Brandon Mill Rd, near where said road intersects Dalrymple Rd. At the time I visited, there was no signage, but the parking lot can be seen from the road. The preserve consists of 24 acres that formerly was part of an historic working farm that dated back to the mid 1800s. The quaint cottage home, shaded by massive oaks, was built in 1920 and is only open for scheduled events. A word of warning, there is an apiary (Beehives) on the property. The bees did not bother me but I would refrain from wearing any cologne/perfume. The trail is very tranquil, especially the rest stop at Falling Branches Creek. Dogs can be on the trail but must be leashed.
